DAO Plus comes in a 50-capsule pack and contains animal-derived diamine oxidase (DAO). For those deficient in the DAO enzyme — which can cause histamine or amine intolerance, including 'Alcohol Flush Syndrome' — this product contains the DAO enzyme plus two supportive ingredients to increase effectiveness, taken at the time of the meal or drink.
2 tablets with the Diamine Oxidase (DAO) enzyme (20,000–30,000 HDU per capsule)
1 tablet with 38 mg Quercetin
1 tablet with 20 mg Vitamin C (25% of the reference intake)

Take 1 capsule just before the histamine-containing meal or drink. Use a maximum of 3 capsules per day. In case of difficulty swallowing, the capsules can be opened and the individual tablets swallowed with some water, without chewing them.
