The infant may require more or less than the quantities given here. If other foods are introduced, this should only be done under medical/dietetic guidance and the amount of Neocate LCP given may need to be reduced accordingly. Recommended feed concentration: One level scoop provides approximately 4.5 g. Use only the scoop provided or a gram scale for accuracy. Add 1 level scoop of powder to every 30mL of water to yield the recommended feed concentration of 13.5% w/v i.e. 13.5g of powder made up to 100mL with water. Osmolality at the recommended concentration 340 mOsmol/kg H20. |
