| Warnings | CYP450 interaction: Gastrodin might reduce the metabolic rate of CYP450-metabolized therapeutic drugs for ADHD, and the combination of gastrodin with these drugs might have a synergistic effect. AMP, atomoxetine, and tricyclic antidepressants, commonly used in ADHD treatment, are metabolized by CYP1A2. Gastrodin might down-regulate CYP1A1 expression, reducing the metabolic rate of these drugs in vivo by inhibiting CYP1A1 activity, thereby improving their efficacy. Can be combined with Ritalin. |
