Orthoplex Indol-Active™ DIM is for use in extemporaneous compounding and contains 3,3'diindolylmethane (DIM) encapsulated in a phospholipid liposome.
DIM is a phytochemical formed from cruciferous vegetables. Research demonstrates that pure crystalline DIM is extremely insoluble in water or oil and poorly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract after oral ingestion.
Indol-Active™ DIM uses small particle sizes of spherical vesicles, consisting of phospholipid molecules, to help enhance the absorption and bioavailability of DIM.
