Travel Health Consultations
What it is
Travel health consultations with an endorsed nurse practitioner from Nurse Practitioner Clinics Australia (NPCA), by telehealth anywhere in Australia. Your nurse practitioner reviews your itinerary and your vaccination history, talks through the health risks associated with where you are going, including destinations where malaria is a risk, and sets out what is recommended before you leave. Where antimalarial medicine is indicated for your destination, it is discussed with you and can be prescribed as part of the consultation.
Travel vaccinations are given in person at Pharmacy 777 Perth City, by appointment. We aim to keep travel vaccines in stock, but supply occasionally varies, so book early and we will confirm what your itinerary needs is on hand. Your local immunisation provider is the alternative if you are not in Perth. Start early: some vaccination schedules run over several weeks.

Book a travel health consultation through HotDoc, at least 6 to 8 weeks before your departure date where you can. Consultations typically run for 20 to 30 minutes.
Have your travel itinerary, your passport and your vaccination records with you. Your nurse practitioner works from current Australian Government travel health guidance.

Vaccinations are given in person at Pharmacy 777 Perth City, 731 Hay Street Mall, Perth WA 6000, or at your local immunisation provider if you are not in Perth.
Cost & PBS
Consultation fees are confirmed when you book, and the cost of any vaccination is confirmed before it is given. Your nurse practitioner will tell you whether any Medicare or PBS benefit applies to your consultation or to what they recommend.
