Neocate LCP infant formula is based on hypoallergenic amino acids, formulated without cows' milk protein. It is suitable as a sole source of nutrition for infants from birth to 12 months of age with confirmed cows' milk protein allergy, multiple food protein allergies, eosinophilic oesophagitis and/or other indications where an amino acid-based formula may be indicated.

Not suitable for general use. Must be used under medical supervision.

Suggested intake: The quantity of feed and the dilution should be determined by a clinician or dietitian only, and is dependent on age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient. For guidance only: Approx. age of baby: Birth, Approx. weight of baby: 3.5kg, Level scoops of Neocate LCP: 3, Cooled boiled water: 90mL, Feeds in 24 hours: 6-7. Approx. age of baby: 2 weeks, Approx. weight of baby: 4kg, Level scoops of Neocate LCP: 4, Cooled boiled water: 120mL, Feeds in 24 hours: 6. Approx. age of baby: 2 months, Approx. weight of baby: 5.5kg, Level scoops of Neocate LCP: 5, Cooled boiled water: 150mL, Feeds in 24 hours: 5-6. Approx. age of baby: 3 months, Approx. weight of baby: 6kg, Level scoops of Neocate LCP: 6, Cooled boiled water: 180mL, Feeds in 24 hours: 5. The infant may require more or less than the quantities given here. If other foods are introduced, this should only be done under medical/dietetic guidance and the amount of Neocate LCP given may need to be reduced accordingly. Recommended feed concentration: One level scoop provides approximately 4.5 g. Use only the scoop provided or a gram scale for accuracy. Add 1 level scoop of powder to every 30mL of water to yield the recommended feed concentration of 13.5% w/v i.e. 13.5g of powder made up to 100mL with water. Osmolality at the recommended concentration 340 mOsmol/kg H20.

Follow instructions exactly. Prepare bottles and teats as directed. Do not change proportions of powder except on medical advice. Incorrect preparation can make your baby very ill for guidance only. Neocate LCP infant formula is based on hypoallergenic amino acids, formulated without cow's milk protein. It is suitable as a sole nutrition for infants from birth to 12 months of age. Important notice: Not suitable for general use. Must be used under medical supervision, after full consideration of all the feeding options, including breastfeeding; the financial and social implications of all feeding options should also be considered before commencing Neocate LCP. For oral and tube feeding only: if using as a tube feed, hang time should not exceed 4 hours. Not for intravenous (parenteral) use. Important Notice: Powdered infant formula is not sterile. Infant formula should be prepared immediately prior to feeding. Formula should not be warmed for longer than 15 minutes prior to feeding. Do not boil prepared formula and do not use a microwave to prepare or warm formula. Note: Infants over 6 months should be offered foods in addition to infant formula. Dental hygiene: Prolonged or frequent contact of drinks and feeds with teeth increases the risk of tooth decay. Make sure your baby's teeth are cleaned after the last feed at night.

How to use my electronic prescription?

After selecting your medications, send us your e-script token in one of the three ways listed below.

# Please note that each medication you're prescribed will have its own unique token. Your e-Script token is the string of 14-20 letters and numbers underneath the QR code in your Electronic Prescription email or SMS.

How to use my paper prescription?

After purchasing your medications, post your paper prescription to:

I selected "I need a script." What happens next?

After selecting this option, you will receive an SMS within 24 hours of placing your order, containing a link to book an appointment with a telehealth medical practitioner via the HotDoc platform. During the consultation, the practitioner will assess your needs and, if clinically appropriate, provide a prescription. Please note that the consultation incurs an additional fee, billed separately through HotDoc. Medicare rebates are available for telehealth consults. If the practitioner is unable to provide a prescription, a refund will be issued for the product, but not for the consultation.

How long does it take for my prescription to be processed?

At Fitchs Pharmacy, we aim to ship your medicines within 1 business day. However, there are some things that may delay your order:

  • For paper prescriptions, your script must be delivered to our Online Pharmacist in Perth WA before we can process and ship your order, depending on your location this may take 2-5 business days.
  • Electronic prescriptions can be processed immediately provided your token number has been entered correctly, in the case of an error our Pharmacist will contact you to check details.
  • Fridge Items: Medications that require refrigeration are shipped early in the week, depending on your location, to ensure they are not held over the weekend and ensure optimal storage. For faster delivery, we recommend selecting Team Global Express instead of Australia Post.
  • Our Pharmacist may need to get in contact with you to talk about your medicines before your prescription can be shipped, be sure to provide your best contact details in the checkout.

How will my prescription be delivered?

Once your order is reviewed and approved by our pharmacist, it will be shipped via Australia Post or Team Global Express. Fridge items will be packed in an esky with ice to maintain the necessary temperature, while other medications will be sent in discreet packaging.

Can I return my prescription items for a refund?

Due to the nature of prescription items, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind after they have been shipped. However, if you change your mind before your order is shipped, a refund can be issued, minus a 5% fee to cover payment processing costs.
