How it works

High potency Garcinia Cambogia Excel™ contains a therapeutic extract of Garcinia, and provides 400mg of hydroxycitric acid (HCA) along with a compound called garcinol, which enhances the actions of HCA in the body.

In Garcinia Cambogia Excel™, the actions of HCA are reinforced by the standardised extracts of Coleus (which contains forskolin) to support fat metabolism, and Gymnema (which contains gymnemic acids), an Ayurvedic herb traditionally used to promote healthy digestion and enhance the body’s uptake and utilisation of nutrients.

Garcinia Cambogia Excel™ also contains chromium, which plays an important role in the body’s metabolism of fats and carbohydrates. Eating a diet containing large quantities of sugars and simple carbohydrates (like bread, cakes and potatoes) increases the body’s excretion of chromium and could result in inadequate intake, which is associated with poor blood sugar (blood glucose) control and balance.

When taken in conjunction with a nutritious diet and regular exercise program, Garcinia Cambogia Excel™ may be beneficial for healthy overweight people and others looking to support fat metabolism and maintain healthy metabolic function. Chromium may also help healthy people maintain normal blood sugar balance.

Among other actions in the body, Garcinia Cambogia Excel™ has thermogenic properties, meaning that it works with the body’s processes for generating heat, which in turn help to maintain a healthy metabolism.

Prescription FAQ's

All medicines listed in our prescriptions category require a valid prescription from an Australian registered prescriber. No prescription items will be processed or shipped until a valid prescription has been received and verified by our pharmacist.

How do I submit my electronic prescription?

You can send us your e-script token in one of the following ways:

  • Enter your prescription token number when adding the product to the cart
  • Forward your email e-script to [email protected]
  • Forward your SMS e-script to +61 483 913 912

# Please note that each medication you're prescribed will have its own unique token. Your e-Script token is the string of 14-20 letters and numbers underneath the QR code in your Electronic Prescription email or SMS.

How do I submit my paper prescription?

What if I don't have a prescription?

A valid prescription from an Australian registered prescriber is required before we can dispense any prescription medicine. If you do not currently hold a prescription, please consult your doctor or healthcare provider to discuss your treatment options.

How long does it take for my prescription to be processed?

At Fitchs Pharmacy, we aim to ship your medicines within 1 business day of receiving a valid prescription. However, there are some things that may affect timing:

  • For paper prescriptions, your script must be received at our Perth pharmacy before we can process your order. Depending on your location, postal delivery may take 2-5 business days.
  • Electronic prescriptions can be processed immediately, provided your token number has been entered correctly. In the case of an error, our pharmacist will contact you to check details.
  • Fridge items: Medications that require refrigeration are shipped early in the week to ensure they are not held over the weekend and to maintain optimal storage. For faster delivery, we recommend selecting Team Global Express instead of Australia Post.
  • Our pharmacist may need to contact you to discuss your medicines before your prescription can be shipped. Please ensure your contact details are up to date at checkout.

How will my prescription be delivered?

Once your order is reviewed and approved by our pharmacist, it will be shipped via Australia Post or Team Global Express. Fridge items will be packed in an esky with ice to maintain the required temperature. All prescription items are sent in discreet packaging.

Can I return prescription items for a refund?

Due to the nature of prescription items, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind after they have been shipped. However, if you change your mind before your order is shipped, a refund can be issued, minus a 5% fee to cover payment processing costs.
