How it works

Vitex agnus-castusis a highly respected western herb that can provide significant relief for women experiencing premenstrual syndrome and is traditionally used for irregular menstruation. Vitex also helps manage acne in both males and females.

Women’s Qi™ and Vitex Excel™ can work separately or in combination depending on each woman’s unique symptom profile (see table below).

In early 2016 my husband and I started trying to conceive our first child. I had always had a regular cycle of 33 days prior to this. However, as soon as we started trying to conceive my cycles went haywire. I was having cycles of 52 days, 45 days, 40 days etc. All investigations came back negative- The only reasoning I was given was likely to be stress. Having such long cycles whilst trying to conceive was frustrating and emotionally taking its toll, because the length of time between ovulation or "fertile periods" was so long. In September I started taking Vitex Excel and was so thrilled that my cycle length was reduced back to 33 days that same month!! The following month I used a different brand of Vitex preparation and was very disappointed to see my cycle length back up to 45 days.
